Today in Mr Schick's Western Civilization class we went over the power point that he had prepared for us. The power point he prepared for us is called "Luther and the Reformation." The power point went over how the Renaissance affected the world socially, politically, and economically. The power point talked about the Church and everything wrong with it at the time. It mentioned the corrupt leadership, the uneducated monks and priests, the broken vows, and the selling of indulgences. The selling of indulgences were basically pardons for your loved ones in purgatory to send them to Heaven.
